India Foundation, in collaboration with Government of Uttar Pradesh, is organising the ‘Kumbh Global Summit on Development and Sustainability’ from 21-23 February 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India where leaders, scholars, thinkers, and experts from different fields will come together to deliberate on various issues like net zero development, an energy-neutral society, challenges of climate change, Sustainable Development Goals and solutions such as Life Style for Environment (LiFE).
The ‘Kumbh Global Summit on Development and Sustainability’ will feature a series of thematic sessions, ministerial addresses, keynote addresses, exhibitions and panel discussions led by eminent speakers from various fields. These sessions will be designed to facilitate in-depth exploration of topics, and encourage cross-disciplinary dialogue. Cultural programs will showcase the rich cultural heritage of India through performances, exhibitions, and demonstrations.
The Summit also aims to generate a comprehensive set of actionable insights and recommendations that can be implemented at local, national, and global levels. These outcomes will be documented and shared with relevant stakeholders, including policymakers, academic institutions, and civil society organizations. By bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary knowledge, the ‘Kumbh Global Summit on Development and Sustainability’ aspires to contribute significantly to the discourse on global climate challenges and promote sustainable development rooted in cultural heritage.
